Hello Students!

As many of you are already aware, the World Evangelization Conference, or WEC week, is coming up on March 10th-13th. This week is an amazing opportunity to see how God is working worldwide and how you can participate in His global mission. The 3 plenary sessions are required for students, but we encourage you to go to as many of the events as you can. To get the most out of the week, students located in Dallas are highly encouraged to attend in person unless extenuating circumstances prevent them from doing so. Please note that WEC sessions are not at the same time as chapel.

WEC Plenary Sessions Required for Students

Tuesday, March 11 @ 9:00AM
Wednesday, March 12 @ 9:00AM
Thursday, March 13 @ 10:15AM

Visit wecweek.org to find out more about all the exciting activities and events we have planned for WEC this year. Please know that some events, especially meals, require advance registration (by 2/27) so don’t delay!

Why Even Come?
We long to see every current student and graduate of DTS living missionally – someone who is actively and effectively reaching the lost with the Good News both near and far. We believe WEC can help equip you to do just that.

WEC is a long-standing tradition here at DTS that started in 1953. Our founder, Lewis Sperry Chafer once said, “We believe that, whether a man is called to preach in a church at home or to go to a mission field, he is equally responsible for a missionary career and activity. Perhaps the pastor at home needs to be even a more enthusiastic preacher and promoter of missions that the man who goes to the field, for it is our home situation that makes the work on the field possible.”

WEC is a family-friendly event so bring your spouses, friends, and children. If you have children between age 4 – 6th grade, be sure to check out WEC Kids, a missions conference just for kids! It’s totally free and fun.
