Travel Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, organizing, booking, tracking, and handling travel requests for faculty who travel to teach at other campuses, extension, and mobile sites.

  • Ability to be on-call 24/7 for travel emergencies and urgent requests


  • Find and arrange appropriate modes of travel, such as flights and rental cars, as well as making reservations at hotels
  • Confirm reservations, distributes tickets along with confirmations to travelers
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships on all levels
  • Coordinate, supervise and implement travel itineraries
  • Maintain and update profiles for each traveler
  • Maintain queues to assure approvals are attained as well as deadlines are met
  • Resolve organization travel related technical conflicts (requires ability to be on call)
  • Seek and maintain local knowledge regarding seasonal pricing and availability
  • Process financial forms, expense reimbursements, and credit card statements
  • Occasionally travel and attend extension and mobile classes to assist students and faculty
  • Perform special projects and assignments as directed
