Limei Wang Weng
Adjunct Professor in Biblical CounselingMS in Mathematics, University of Iowa, 1984; MACE, DTS, 2010; MABC, 2012; DMin in Marriage and Family, 2014.
While studying at DTS in the Doctor of Ministry program, Dr. Weng served as a children’s pastor at a local Chinese church before ultimately deciding to follow her passion for helping people rebuild their families. She now serves with her husband, Julian, at the Agape Family Center—a non-profit organization that provides affordable counseling to the local community. Particularly, she enjoys working with people who have suffered from the pain of divorce or the loss of a loved one and the parents of children with special needs through counseling and educational workshops. She and her husband also serve at marriage enrichment retreats under Chinese Family for Christ International and lead couple’s groups at local Chinese churches. She likes to equip and empower her clients to live a meaningful life. Most importantly, she received great support from her husband Julian, two children James and Joann, and their spouses, Grace and Ryan, and loves spending time with them.
