Since beginning the search for the sixth president of Dallas Theological Seminary in October 2018, the DTS Presidential Search Committee has been busy looking through the nominations. The committee has reviewed each of the names submitted to determine whether the nominee’s skills and experience match the job requirements and has evaluated the nominee’s theological views to ensure alignment with DTS’s doctrinal commitments. As a result, a small number of candidates who best “fit” the seminary’s requirements will continue to the next stage of the review process.
Over the next several weeks, we will extensively interview each of the remaining candidates. At the conclusion of these interviews, we will narrow down the candidates in order to make a recommendation to the DTS Board of Incorporate Members in the fall.
We are asking for your continued prayers as we take our next steps in this process. The Search Committee has committed to pray daily for God’s guidance. We have also committed ourselves to fasting. We invite you to join us in these disciplines should the Lord so move your heart.
