The Director of Counseling Services administers a psychological assessment to each incoming student in conjunction with New Student Orientation. The purpose of this assessment is to determine whether the student has entered the Seminary with personal struggles that, if not addressed, could be detrimental to his or her future ministries. (See the Student Handbook or contact Student Services for further details.) Students unable to attend orientation must still complete this assessment. Please contact Student Services for more information.

Further questions can be directed to Student Services, in person on the first floor of Walvoord, by email at, or by phone at 214-887-5360.
