New Student Orientation
Saturday, January 21
11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
DTS-DC Campus (hosted by McLean Bible Church)
Welcome to the DTS family! We’ve planned the New Student Orientation Lunch to help you succeed in your seminary studies here in the DC region. Spouses are welcome, too. Please reserve one ticket for each person attending.
During our time together, we will:
- Introduce the DC campus faculty and staff
- Discuss information to prepare for seminary life
- Take your picture for your student ID card
The Director of Counseling Services administers a psychological assessment to each incoming student in conjunction with New Student Orientation. The purpose of this assessment is to determine whether the student has entered the Seminary with personal struggles that, if not addressed, could be detrimental to his or her future ministries. (See the Student Handbook or contact Student Services for further details.) Students unable to attend orientation must still complete this assessment. Please contact Student Services for more information.
Online and Distance Education students at other sites should contact the Online and Distance Education department for more information about orientation on your campus.
