The Master of Arts in Media Arts and Worship equips worship leaders, writers, and artists to integrate theological depth with creative excellence in the service of the church.

Where Theology Shapes Creative Worship

The MAMW is designed for those called to serve the church through music, writing, visual arts, and worship leadership. Students complete a shared core of Bible and theology coursework alongside focused training in culture formation, artistic development, and worship practice. By grounding creativity in sound doctrine and thoughtful reflection, the program equips graduates to lead and create in ways that reflect the gospel's beauty and truth.

Program Goals

Students in the MAMW program will:

  • Evidence a general knowledge of Christian theology, including an ability to support their theological views
  • Demonstrate a general knowledge of the Bible, including an understanding of the message and arguments of specific books of the Bible
  • Display Christlikeness in their pursuit of knowledge and relationships within the seminary community
  • Communicate biblical, theological, and spiritual content through creative, culturally relevant media
  • Articulate the role of art and worship in shaping and expressing Christian life and the role of the creative believer in the church and the world
