Brian Chan

Assistant Professor of Media Arts and Worship

Dr. Chan is passionate about a theology of beauty, creativity, art, story, and film. In Hollywood, he was a senior pastor, professor, fight trainer and choreographer, and film industry workshop speaker. He continues to work as a script consultant. He writes nonfiction and fiction. He is an internationally award-winning fine artist (exhibiting in Tokyo, Nagasaki, and Rome), serves on the board of LELA International Artists, and mentors European Christian artists in the European Leadership Forum. As a martial artist, he is a certified kung fu instructor. In his free time, he studies and practices bonsai art. His wife Ellen, their son, and he enjoy comic conventions, baseball games, traveling, and animals.
