Greetings from Virginia! While I came to DTS with a plan, the Lord used my professors and seminary experience to not only further shape my affections for Him but also to clarify my ministry goals! I completed the Master of Biblical and Theological Studies in 2021 and am continuing my education in the MA in Biblical Counseling program in order to become a licensed Christian counselor. As someone who always wants to know “the plan,” the Lord has used Proverbs 16:9 to kindly remind me that He often leads one step at a time! “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Regardless of your context, you will never regret investing in a strong biblical and theological foundation for your life.
