Roger and Kim have been married for 37 years and have been blessed with 2 daughters and a son. Prior to joining the DTS faculty, Dr. Poupart served for more than 30 years as a Senior Pastor, leading churches in Kaufman, TX, Des Moines, IA, and San Antonio, TX. Dr. Poupart has a heart for training leaders worldwide, having taught in conferences, pastoral institutes, and seminaries in Mexico, Ecuador, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Uganda, Rwanda, India, China, and Kazakhstan. Before entering the pastorate, Dr. Poupart served as a Dallas Police Officer and he has utilized his experience to serve the community and first responders in the areas of Crisis Counseling, Critical Incident Involvement, and Chaplaincy.
