Credit Opportunities

Ministry Residency—Earn Up to 12 Seminary Credit Hours

If you're an ACSI-certified teacher working at least 30 hours per week, you may be eligible for DTS’s Ministry Residency program within the MACL, MACE, and ThM degree programs.

Ministry Residency connects your DTS coursework with the ministry you are already doing. Through guided readings, reflection, and ministry competencies, you can integrate what you are learning with your work as a Christian educator while earning up to 12 hours of degree credit.

Tuition Discount

Teachers and administrators at ASCI partner schools qualify for a tuition discount of 50% off master's-level courses and 30% off doctoral-level coursework.

Distance and Online Options

Most DTS degree programs can be completed entirely online, allowing you to continue serving your school while you study.

DTS also offers campuses and regional locations across the United States, along with hybrid courses and other flexible study formats. These options give you opportunities for in-person learning, fellowship, and relationships with fellow students and faculty.

Application Process

To begin the application process:

1. Fill out the online application.
2. On the “Final Items” page of the application, you’ll see a box for an Application Fee Waiver. In that box, please put this phrase: halftuition. At the bottom of the same page, a box asks, “Who or what prompted you to apply to Dallas Theological Seminary?” Write ACSI partnership as the answer.
3. Once accepted, you'll need to provide a "verification of employment" letter. This letter must include the logo of the partner school or organization; date; employment status (full- or part-time); and the signature of an authorized representative (other than the student).
