The Yellow Ribbon Program allows DTS to fully cover tuition and fee expenses that exceed the established maximum thresholds under the Post 9/11 GI Bill® for an unlimited number of eligible military students.

Who is eligible to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program?

Military students eligible at the 100% benefit level for the Post 9/11 GI Bill® are able to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. The student must exceed the VA-determined maximum payment cap for an academic year in order to begin receiving benefits through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

What is the Maximum Payment Cap under the Post 9/11 GI Bill®?

  • The maximum cap for the 2025-2026 academic year: $29,920.95
  • DTS will cover tuition and fee costs for any eligible military student who exceeds this amount within the 2025–2026 academic year (August 2025 through July 2026).
