Our Mission
The purpose of the Department of New Testament Studies is to equip students to do accurate exegetical work in the Greek New Testament so that they can expound and apply it effectively in their lives and ministries. The required courses help students develop the passion and skills necessary for this work in the following areas:
- New Testament introduction
- Greek grammar and syntax
- textual criticism
- lexical and literary analysis
- use of interpretive tools
- exegetical problem-solving
- movement from exegesis to theology and exposition
