The Yellow Ribbon Program allows DTS to fully cover tuition and fee expenses that exceed the established maximum thresholds under the Post 9/11 GI Bill® for an unlimited number of eligible military students.
Who is eligible to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program?
Military students eligible at the 100% benefit level for the Post 9/11 GI Bill® are able to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. The student must exceed the VA determined maximum payment cap for an academic year in order to begin receiving benefits through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
What is the Maximum Payment Cap under the Post 9/11 GI Bill®?
- The maximum cap for the 2024 – 2025 academic year: $28,937.09
- DTS will cover tuition and fee costs for any eligible military student who exceeds this amount within the 2024 – 2025 academic year (August 2024 through July 2025).
