Degrees offered at the Houston Campus

DTS is now offering 5 masters degrees, the Doctor of Ministry, and the Certificate of Graduate Studies through the Houston campus. The M.A./CM, M.A./CL, and D.Min. are newly available in Houston in Fall 2011

Th.M.
The Master of Theology is a 120-hour program that gives biblical, theological, and original language training designed to prepare leaders, missionaries, and pastors for full time Christian ministry.
M.A./CM
The Master of Arts in Cross-cultural Ministries is a 64-hour program designed to provide graduate-level training for people whose ministries include serving other cultures.
M.A./CL
The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership is a 62-hour program that prepares graduates for organizational leadership roles in a wide variety of ministry settings, from the church to the marketplace.
D.MIN.
The Doctor of Ministry degree program is designed to provide advanced training in the practice of biblically and theologically oriented ministry to those actively involved in vocational or bivocational ministry.
M.A.[BS]
The Master of Arts in Biblical Studies is a 62-hour program that gives biblical and theological training for those involved in lay and support ministry.  Individuals with this degree are typically bi-vocational.
M.A./CE
The Master of Arts in Christian Education is a 65-hour program that gives biblical and theological training as well as emphasis upon the educational process related to church and parachurch ministries. Individuals with this degree are typically involved in the education of a local church, either as overseer or participant.
C.B.T.S.
The Certificate of Biblical and Theological Studies is a 30-hour certificate that offers fundamental graduate-level biblical and theological training.  This certificate provides individuals with introductory training that can lead to transferal into a masters degree program.
